The Resilience Resource Pack is a set of 5 infographics that aim to raise awareness, in a lucid and easy-to-grasp manner, about the urgent issue of rising temperatures. Each flyer, written in both English and Hindi, tackles a specific angle of this urgent pressing concern. This includes focusing on identifying heat strokes and detailing methods of prevention and first-aid response. Further, in addition to focusing on aspects like the ecological consequences of global warming, they also bring attention to strategies for cultivating heat resilience, through elaborating on actionable interventions through advocacy and policy, while also visibilizing technological solutions and sustainable development practices towards creating infrastructures that are resilient to rising temperatures. Premised on the belief in the value of science-based advocacy, these flyers aim to inform, empower, and mobilize individuals and communities to take action against the urgent threats posed by rising temperatures.
Project 52 White Paper
In April 2025, as part of the project, Savar drafted an original paper titled, “The Cost of Heat: Sustainable Infrastructure, Policy Responses, and Economic Implications of the Urban Heat Island Effect in India.” This research analyzed the cascading heat impacts on green, gray, and blue infrastructure. The paper further explored the efficacy of infrastructural innovations and existing policy responses for heat mitigation. Finally, the economic consequences of the heat emergency were evaluated.
Heat Heroes Network
In August 2025, the Heat Heroes Network was created as a database of 20 corporate entities invited to pledge to Project 52. The initiative seeks to provide heat resilience kits to laborers on production floors and construction sites. Ongoing liaison with these companies continues to secure pledges. Afkon Automotives became the first company to formally pledge to the project.
